"This is all the inheritance I can give my dear family. The religion
of Christ can give them one which will make them rich indeed."

While Going to Rome (My very short, but long, journey)
While going to Rome, it was a wonderful escape from antinomianism, from sola authorities and from polar conundrums. But while going East, the horizon had met me. The nagging had stopped. The fears had all vanished. The rightness was so loud no question was threatening. No answer was pragmatic, superstitious or presumptuous, but forced me to be closer to death, and closer to life; His death, and His life. I can never, and will never, be able to say, that “I have arrived” to complete this salvation, or to never have wonder or to hope again. But I can now say, that I indeed have come to the end of a long road of nagging uncertainty. The answer has met me; does God love me, my family, my neighbor, and even my enemies? Yes He does.
